About Indian Board of Alternative Medicines
Indian Board of Alternative Medicines was established in the year of 1991 as a not-for-profit institution for the promotion and propagation of various systems of alternative medicines, viz. Naturopathy, Yoga, Herbal Medicines, Meditation Reiki, Nutrition, etc.
Over the years, Indian Board of Alternative Medicines organized several National and International Conferences, attended by participants from more than 100 countries; published more than 100 books on the different systems; and trained many hundreds of students on the efficacy of alternative medicines.
Indian Board of Alternative Medicines has received appreciation for its activities by the President and Prime Minister; several Government bodies (both State and Central), Embassies of different countries worldwide, international bodies like United Nations, WHO, etc.
The programmes of Indian Board of Alternative Medicines received recognition by bodies in USA, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand over the years; as well as its student’s certificates were attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
